Sweep & Lower water
Premix Shock and have it ready to put in the pool just before you put the cover on.
Also premix the Algaecide and the stain and scale.
DO NOT MIX ANY CHEMICALS TOGETHER.

1. Vacuum the Pool.
2. Lower the water level just under the return.
{You can lower the pool water while your vacuuming.
Just put dial valve in waste}

Filter, Motor & Pump
1. Take out the plug in the Filter and let the water drain out of the tank. {Put plug in the pump basket for the winter}
2. Take out all the plugs in the Motor & Pump.
{Put the plugs in the pump basket.}
Let all the water drain out completely.
3. You can store some small filters system in
a garage or shed out of the weather.
4. If you have a D.E. Filter take out the grids
and hose them off till they are clean.
Then put them back in the tank.
This way the filter will be ready for next year.
You can cover your filter systems if you want.

{Do not take grids apart.}

2. Then blow out the skimmer line.
Then put in your anti-freeze 1-2 gals.
